Yardley Presbyterian Church has a Session consisting of Rev. Buster McLeod, Elder Bill Redington, and Elder Tom Tomer.
Presbyterian means that each local congregation is governed by presbyters (meaning "elders") who are elected from the congregation by the members of the congregation.
These Ruling Elders share with the Pastor, the Teaching Elder, in the oversight of the local church.
Local churches are joined together under the government of an appointed collection of regional churches called presbyteries.
These presbyteries are made up of the Orthodox Presbyterian ministers of the region and elders from each of the member churches.
Each year, commissioners from each presbytery meet together in a General Assembly to discuss matters and business of the Orthodox Presbyterian denomination.
